The cops present a likely story here. You be the judge. In this case did the cops use the tazers as a crutch or was this a situation where they would have had to shoot the subject?

At least this taser case is refreshing in that there is a bit of murkiness as to who was most responsible for the incident. On one hand, this does appear to be another case of using taser technology to force a subject's compliance, but on the other hand, I don't think any jury of reasonable people would send this police officer to prison. If the suspect wouldn't show his hands, maybe the cop does have a right to use a taser. Personally, I would have used patience, but some might want to use a taser.
